According to the main use in the industry, stainless acid-resistant steel is divided into stainless steel and acid-resistant. Stainless steel that resists corrosion in the air is called stainless steel; steel that resists corrosion in a variety of aggressive media is called acid-resistant steel. Stainless steel is not necessarily acid resistant, while acid resistant steel generally has good stainless properties. These steels mainly contain alloying elements such as chromium and nickel, and also contain a small amount of molybdenum, vanadium, copper, manganese, nitrogen or other elements. The chromium content is as high as 25% (steel containing less than 13% chromium, only corrosion resistant if the corrosion is not strong), and the nickel content is as high as 20%. These steels are mainly used in the manufacture of chemical equipment, medical equipment, food industry equipment and other stainless steel-demanding devices.
