Different brands, the content requirements of these elements are also different.Aluminum improves strength and hardness and reduces ductility of electrical steel.But aluminum does not have the same effect on ductility as silicon, and has a similar effect.Therefore, with the increase of grade, silicon content can be increased to about 3% without changing, and aluminum content can be gradually increased to 1%.General grade aluminum content is 0.3% ~ 0.6%.The content of carbon, sulfur and manganese decreases with the increase of brand.High grade impurity content is: S<0.002%, C<0.003%, N2<0.002%, O2<0.002%, after annealing without decarbonization, to prevent the formation of internal oxidation layer and internal nitriding layer.In addition, Ti<0.005% and Zr<0.002% are required to prevent the formation of fine TiN, ZrN and TiC and hinder the growth of grains.
